Overview - 1000 Base-TX to 1000 Base-FX Media Converter
This Gigabit Ethernet converter complies with IEEE 802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE 802.3z 1000Base-SX/LX standards. It converts Optical-Electric Ethernet signals between 1000M UTP interface (TX) and 1000M optical fiber interface (FX). This media convertor supports single-mode and multi-mode fibers with a transmission distance of up to 80 km over single-mode fiber and 550 m over multi-mode fiber. In addition, this intelligent fiber converter works with GAO's C0340001 chassis system or as a standalone unit.
