This 7-port fiber Ethernet switch, model C0330002, converts 10/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet twisted-pair signals to 100BASE-FX Fast Ethernet fiber signals. It features store and forward switching mechanism. The converter has the ability to transmit up to 2 kilometers for multi-mode fiber and up to 120 kilometers for long-haul single mode fiber between a LAN switch, file server and another networking device. It provides IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control and back pressure half-duplex flow control.

This 6-Port 10/100Base-Tx and 1-Port 100Base-Fx fiber Ethernet switch also features 10/100M auto-negotiation in TP port and has a maximum speed of up to 20/200M in full-duplex mode. It allows for MAC self-learning, port-based VLAN and automatic MDI/MDI-X configuration. In addition, LED indicator lights fully monitor the convertor’s operational status making observation and diagnoses easy.

PON Power Meter Enables Quick Testing of All PON Signals along the Network

This portable PON power meter, model C0260007,enables quick testing of all PON signals along the network and performs simultaneous measurement and displays of PON signals including voice, data and video optical signal. Portable Fiber Optic Visual Light Source

When used together with GAO Fiber Optics’ portable optical fiber identifier (modelC0230002), it provides an economic and efficient solution for measuring optical loss in fiber optic cable.

This portable fiber optic visual light source, model C0220002, provides 1 to 6 wavelengths of highly stable output including 650 nm visible red light, 1310/1550 nm wavelengths for single mode fiber and 850/1300 nm wavelengths for multimode fiber. Other optional wavelengths are available. Digital Fiber Fusion Splicer with Automatic Focus Function

Optical Time Domain Reflectometer Used in a Variety of Fiber Optic Applications

10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX Media Converter with LFP Function

Toronto, Canada GAO Fiber Optics has released its 10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX media converter with LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) function enhancing the integrity and conformity of the TP-Fiber linking to improve the maintainability of the network.

This 10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX media converter, model C0320002, converts 10/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet twisted-pair signals to 100BASE-FX Fast Ethernet fiber signals. It complies with IEEE802.3u 10/100BASE-TX 100BASE-FX standards and is RoHS compliant.  It uses 1310 nm wavelength in multi-mode and 1310 nm, 1550 nm in single-mode. This media converter has the ability to support distances of up to 2 km for multi-mode fiber and up to 120 km for long-haul single mode fiber between a LAN switch, file server and another networking devices. Moreover, this media converter is available in single fiber WDM versions.

Five LEDs are provided to monitor the operation status of the converter and the DIP switch on the side panel is used to set the required configuration for various applications. In addition, this media convertor is equipped with an RJ-45 port and a fiber optic ST or SC or WDM port, allowing it to quickly integrate a 10/100Base-TX network into a 100Base-FX (fiber) network. It is powered by an external power adapter or a USB port.
