The Ethernet switch, scattering in every corner of LAN networks, supports Port-based VLAN and intelligent configuration for port bandwidth control, priority, dynamic MAC address list, port safety and broadcast storm control. The 100Mbps optical port for uplink extends the radius of the network. GAO Fiber Optics’ Ethernet switch complies with IEEE 802.3 10Base-T standard and IEEE 802.3u 100Base-TX/FX standard; it provides LED indication which consists of six electric ports, one optical port and one electrical source indication. The Ethernet switch offers a128K-Byte packet buffer and can operate in full or half duplex mode. It also supports auto crossover for MDI/MDIX in TP port and can store and forward switching mechanism.
