It detects faults in an OTDR dead zone and also finds breaks, poor connections and bending or cracking in fiber optic cables.
This portable fiber optical visual fault locator, model 3105P, performs end-to-end visual fiber identification. It supports both CW and pulse operating modes. The 650nm visible fault locator complies with CE standards including EMC, EMI and ROHS. It features a low voltage warning, it is drop and dust resistance and has a laser case ground design which prevents ESD damage. The rugged fault locator is shipped with a FP-LD emitter and a 2.5mm universal connector. If 1.25mm connectors are required, an FC (male)-LC (female) convertor can be provided upon request.
