Overview - Riverstone Compatible 1000Base-T GBIC Copper Transceiver (GIC-12)
This copper GBIC transceiver is fully compatible with original Riverstone Compatible transceivers. It adheres to Gigabit Ethernet IEEE 802.3 and 1000BASE-T standards and provides a quick and reliable interface for the Gigabit Ethernet applications. In addition, it complies with the GBIC Specification Revision 5.5. The 1000BASE-T physical layer PHY can be accessed via I2C, allowing access to all PHY settings and features.
