Description - Fiber Optic Instrument: Optical Power Meter (GAO3020)

The GAO3020 Optical Power Meter suits installation, calibration and maintenance of the telecommunication & CATV network projects. The instrument is small in size and light in weight and easy to carry. In addition it has functions of general and traditional power meter, the multi-mode measurement, the interface of the graphics and characters shows an enormous LCD and plenty of functions, which brings convenience as before.

  • It is Notebook with out paper No matter where you are, you can record the result of measurement through it at any time you want. More-ever, the result can be arranged into report forms automatically and printed by communication apparatus of RS232 or transmitted to PC for unified management.
  • It has self-initiated on-line help Each time before operation the prompt menu on the screen will give information in English. Automatic Hints or warning alarms will be given if the operation fails.
  • Management of power supply with intellectual facility
    The power supply monitor of GAO3020 Optical Power Meter is designed to survey the voltage data of worked system and run-time state of the battery. Users can check or change the thresh del for management of power supply through POWER SUPPLY menu.
  • Attractive LCD screen with many large descriptions
    Clock Display, low battery indicator, mode indicator, character prompt area, name of selected item, function prompt area and current selection function indicator.
  • Great feature as you start the machine and power-on, self-test & self check
    While the GAO3020 Optical Power Meter is turned on, the system will enter the state of Self-Test. Not only the hardware of the complete machine will be checked comprehensively but also the necessary working parameter will be called in. During the time of self-test, the prompt procession for the hardware fault will be according to the degree of the fault if it is checked out.


Caution: User should check that the guard hood of the built-in optical sensor is covered.
GAO3020 gives you all necessary accessories like charger, print cable, communication cable and management disk for report form, briefcase and user manual.

DS3020C: For 1310nm; +27 to -33dBm & for 1550nm; +27 to -33dBm.
