GAO FiberOptics strives to provide secure, fast and the most cost-efficient shipping methods to our valuable customers worldwide.
Flat rates for shipping, fuel surcharges and handling for any order with a value of up to US$1,500 and a standard package size with a maximum weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs):
- North American Destinations (United States & Canada): US$45.00 *
- European Destinations (All EU countries): US$68.00 *
- Iternational Destinations (Excluding EU countries): US$110.00 *
Other orders such as bulk or very large orders may be subject to additional shipping and handling fees. Please feel free to ask us about the shipping related questions.

Taxes & Duties
Your order may be subject to additional brokerage fees, customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. Any courier related brokerage fees, customs or duty charges are the responsibility of the recipient. GAO FiberOptics has no control over and will not be responsible for any brokerage fees, customs or duty charges levied on the shipment.
All items shipping to Canadian addresses are subject to 5% GST (Goods & Service Tax). Ontario orders are subject to an additional 8% PST (Provincial Sales Tax).
Delivery Methods
GAO FiberOptics currently employs DHL, UPS, TNT, FedEx and EMS for domestic and international delivery. DHL, TNT or EMS is used for orders that are shipped directly from the manufacturing plants. UPS and TNT are our default carriers for orders that are shipped from our domestic warehouse in Toronto, Canada. The same shipping charges will be applied to the order egardless of the choice of carrier.
Additional charges may apply if the customer decides to upgrade shipping options. Please feel free to inquire about your shipping options.
Shipping Time
In most cases, it usually takes three to five days for orders to arrive at their destination. There could be some exceptions due to non-controllable circumstances and events. We will do our best to notify our customers if we are aware that delivery is delayed for any reason.
